It can take a lot of courage to admit to yourself that you would like help. You may be in two minds about seeking therapy, but you have made it this far, so I welcome you.
I have called my practice Two Minds Together Counselling to reflect both the reticence you may feel seeking help and the old adage two minds are better than one. I hope as you read on and find out about me and how I work, that you will feel able to consider allowing me to work with you.
Perhaps life feels like a puzzle and you are struggling to make any sense of the pieces?
Perhaps you are anxious, over-thinking or life is getting you down?
Perhaps you are overly dependent on substances or behaviours which you know are destructive and want to make changes?
Perhaps you are struggling with your relationships or feel that you make the same mistakes again and again and don't know how to change the patterns?
Perhaps you have suffered trauma or loss which stops you living the life you would like to live?
Life is not always easy, throwing curve balls when you are least equipped to cope.
Counselling gives you the opportunity to work with two minds together - yours and mine. I will provide a safe, secure and confidential space where you can talk and I will listen without judgement. We will work together with whatever you bring. I won't tell you what to do or how to solve your problems, but I will sit alongside you and in thinking together about your past and present, you may see yourself more clearly.
